Outrageous-And-We-Know-It

I recently watched this show Indian MatchMaking on Netflix and surprise surprise I have an opinion! 
If you think characters of Indian Matchmaking are outrageous just look around you and you will find:
  1. A boy desperate for a any hot girl which he prefers to call "attractive" so nobody can call him superficial and materialistic, that's Pradhyuman
  2. A mom who wants her son to be married by a certain age, that's Akshay's(and every desi Indian) mom
  3. A mom who wants her son to have kids by a certain age, well that's Akshay's mom as well(and again every desi mom)!
  4. An aunty who is super concerned about your marriage, that's Sima Aunty Sima Taparia from Mumbai
  5. A person who hates her job and pursues travel under social pressure, that's Aparna.
  6. A didi who pretends to be cool but then asks you why aren't you planning to marry at 30, that's Pradhyuman's sister.
  7. A father who is disinterested in his son's marriage, that's every prospective groom's father on Indian Matchmaking
  8. A mother who is over enthusiastic about her son's marriage, that's every prospective groom's mother on Indian Matchmaking.
  9. A girl who is sweet, has reasonable aspirations for her partner, yet is single and gets flaked, that's Nadia.
  10. A guy looking for an educated but "homely" and "flexible" girl where "homely" implies "Girl who does all the house chores, never thinks about her, doesn't have any ambitions" and "flexible" implies "follows whatever you, your family, your 3rd cousin, his wife his family, his in-laws say" is Akshay. 
There are many more as well. So if you think Indian Matchmaking is outrageous, think again!

"Su" kar mere mann ko

 As is the case with most of my writings, I write this on a sleepless night wondering why I cannot sleep after doing absolutely no physical activity for the entire day. Human body continues to amaze me. I have been thinking a lot about writing this for you but seems like this blog draft is your presence that has managed to leave me speechless as always.
